In the era of fast life, I am more and more drawn to something that has slowness. Something that has duration. Something that doesn’t strive to get your short time attention but simply wants to accompany you.  

And I want to be that something.  

When everyone is trying to sell you “the thing that will do the job faster” so you can meet the deadlines, the schedule, the bus, the life, I want to be the one that will take your hand and tell you, 

“You know what? Let’s walk there, I know a really nice route to the place.” 

I want to be that person you see, and they move slowly.  

Slowly enough that you finally have a place to sit, and fit.  

I want to hear your story. With all of the “small and boring” details.  

I’ll brew some coffee, and you might tell me if you think that aliens are actually out there. 

Maybe that’s why I can’t do small talk, and that’s probably why I don’t go running 

The jasmine on my balcony never rushed to flower,
